The Baqsa Rougé Heirloom Lehenga

A play on light and translucence, where the lehenga is imagined in tissue, mirrored by a dupatta of the same, rendered in a carrot pink hue and muted green that shifts from soft to deep through sheer layers.

The borders draw from old saris, reworked and reimagined, while the surface is detailed with tested taari, onyx, dori and marodi, set with semi-precious stones. It is paired with a jamewar blouse that grounds the fluidity of the look. A double dupatta completes the ensemble one in organza in a muted green, the other in tissue adding dimension through contrast and movement.

Finished with appliqué work, transparent layering, and accents of semi-precious pearls and beadwork, the piece carries intricacy with restraint.
